Using Downline Builders To Get Referrals

What is a Downline Builder?

A Downline Builder in simple terms, is a mechanism for increasing your referrals. There are basically two types. The first type consists of an actual thread in a forum whereby a user can join a downline by signing up to a site using the referral link of the last post. This thread continues indefinitely guaranteeing each member who posts in the thread one referral. Problem with this method is that you only get one referral and you must not already be a member of the site you want to join. The other type of downline builder is a more conventional program that involves a site usually dedicated to building your referral base. One such site is PTCReferrals. Let’s take a look at how it works.

How A Downline Builder Works?

After you signup as a member at a downline builder site, there is a section where you can view all the programs the site has in its database. Each site listing has a referral link with the member who sponsored you to the site (the referral link you used to get to the downline builder site). Also there is a “Username/Affiliate ID” field for you to put your USERID for that site. Basically you browse through the programs you are interested in joining and click on the referral link to any you want to join. After you have signed up to that particular site and given a USERID, you can then put it in the “Username/Affliate ID” field for that site. From then on, anyone you refer to the downline builder will see your referral link when they access the downline builder program database.

Benefits and Advantages

Downline Builders provide a consolidate referral link approach to getting referrals. Once you join a downline builder site and join the programs in its database, you only need to promote a single referral link. Your referral link to the downline builder will showcase all your referral links to sites that you are a member of in the program database. You also get unlimited levels of tiers for your referral links. This means that not only do you get to showcase your referrals links to your direct referrals, but also to indirect referrals for any programs that your directs did not register for. Lastly, if you already are a member of a site, all you need to do is put your USERID in the “Username/Affiliate ID” field and your referral links are now active.

Conclusion

While there are many downline builders around, there aren’t many that have bux type ptc sites in their database. Most have traffic exchanges, PTRs and aurora type PTC sites, however there are a few that specialize in the more popular PTC sites.
